Excel Live Dashboard — Complete Walkthrough

EMC built a fully interactive financial model for a multi-brand fashion retail group operating across the United States and Canada, spanning 98 stores and 10 brands — including labels like Ironclad Denim, Harrow & Sons, Pinnacle, Amber & Rye, Stridewell, Maison Lumière, Apex Athletics, and Outpost Supply Co. Rather than a static report, the deliverable is a live Excel workbook: two dropdown selectors let management filter the entire income statement by brand and by market, instantly recalculating revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, and operating income in USD — down to the per-square-foot and per-headcount level.

To help the client's team actually use the model, EMC produced a narrated video walkthrough of the workbook itself — showing the dropdowns in action, the numbers updating live, and the automatic ranking tables that flag the best- and worst-performing stores by revenue, EBITDA, and operating profit.
